Portrait Photography Information
Whether you’re an actor looking for a headshot, a family looking for a portrait, or a company in need of staff photos for the website, everyone needs a good portrait photographer at one point in their lives. “Portrait photography” is a fairly broad term, though. All these different jobs require different skills and, sometimes, different equipment.Olinda has a relationship with a studio in South Orange, NJ, 20/20 Photography. Studio space offers the privacy and equipment necessary for fashion and glamour shoots. If you choose to shoot in the studio, you can also have access to a hair and make-up artist. This is a perfect solution for someone who is looking to build a modeling portfolio.
While physical studios are great, they don’t suit every type of portrait. Sometimes, you need to capture an image in a certain environment – the home, the park, a burned out building – to get the look you want. We have a fully portable lighting set up, so we are not tied to the physical studio space. We can easily bring the studio to you, or to the location that you think is best.
Studio Session
Booking a session in studio is perfect for fashion photography and portfolio work. It’s warm year round, and you’ve got a private changing area.

On Location Session
Environmental portraits are often far more special than standard studio shots. We’ll travel throughout most of New Jersey and New York to your desired location.
- $69 for the first hour
- $50 for each additional hour
- Approx. 12 to 24 images per outfit
- Locations more than 25 miles from the Newark area may incur a surcharge
- Session fee includes edited images delivered via online gallery
- Prints and specialty products extra
